Union of India v. Mahesh Bhatt & Anr.

Union of India appealed a Delhi High Court decision finding certain sections of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's rules to implement India's tobacco control law unconstitutional.  The contested sections of the rules prohibit the display of tobacco products in films and television programs.  In this preliminary order, the Supreme Court put an interim stay on the Delhi High Court's judgment.
