Faith Foundation v. State of Gujarat

Faith Foundation seeks an order directing the government to enforce (1) the tobacco advertising and promotion provisions of COTPA and (2) a state order addressing advertising.  The court disposed the petition when the government gave an undertaking that it will include a condition in the licenses issued by the Municipal Corporation providing that no advertisement shall be displayed on any
hoarding, the contents of which violate any law, including COTPA Section 5 and accompanying rules.
