Analysis

The law requires manufacturers and importers to provide such information about the product and its emissions to the Minister and the public as may be prescribed, in the prescribed manner and within the prescribed time. The regulations detailing the specific requirements of such disclosure have not yet been issued.

Failure to comply with the disclosure requirements is punishable by a fine of up to R1,000,000.
