Under the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Act 1990 (Public Act 1990 No. 108) (as amended) and the Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Regulations 2021 (LI 2021/204), HTPs are regulated as “regulated products” and “notifiable products.” “Tobacco products” are included within the definition of “regulated products.” “Smokeless tobacco products” are defined as both “tobacco products” and “notifiable products.” HTP devices and inserts are included as “smokeless tobacco products” and therefore, are regulated under the legislation and regulations.
