Does the law establish a minimum age for the purchase of tobacco products?
The law prohibits the sale of tobacco products to anyone under the age of 18. It also establishes that the vendor shall put a visible notice board in the entrance door of their point of sale, indicating that no tobacco products shall be sold to a person under the age of 18 years.
The law meets FCTC Art. 16 in that it prohibits the sale of tobacco products to minors.
