Each pack contains: (i) a health warning, (ii) a cessation message, (iii) a graphic image, (iv) a description of the image, (v) cessation advice, and (vi) an explanatory message.

For smoked tobacco products, these components are:

(i) Health warning: "Smoking causes a painful death"

(ii) Cessation message: "Stop immediately!"

(iii) Graphic image of lung cancer

(iv) Image description: "Lung Cancer"

(iii) Cessation advice (side): "To cease, seek the assistance of a healthcare practitioner!"

(iv) Explanatory message (side): “Tobacco contains 250 toxic chemicals. These chemicals harm vital organs of the body and causes painful diseases like cancer, stroke and lung damage."

For smokeless tobacco products, these components are:

(i) Health warning: "Tobacco is a toxin that causes cancer"

(ii) Cessation message: "Stop immediately!"

(iii) Graphic image of mouth cancer

(iv) Image description: "Mouth Cancer"

(iii) Cessation advice (side): "To cease, seek the assistance of a healthcare practitioner!"

(iv) Explanatory message (side): "Tobacco causes mouth and throat cancer, requires major surgeries, eating and speaking difficulties, and disfigurement for life!"
