The law provides for penalties including cancellation or temporary or partial suspense of license. It also permits fines between 500-100,000 Rufiyaa as prescribed by regulations.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 13 and the FCTC Art. 13 Guidelines in that it imposes penalties for violations of tobacco advertising and promotion provisions.
