The following health warnings, with accompanying pictures, are required on the front and back of tobacco product packages:
1. Smoking kills 1 in 2 lives of whom do not quit
2. Smoking causes heart diseases
3. If a pregnant woman smokes, her child may be born with a harelip
4. Smoking causes cataracts
5. Smoking causes severe foot decay conditions
6. Smoking causes tuberculosis
7. Smoking causes lung cancer
8. Smoking causes teeth discoloration and bad breath
9. Smoking causes hemorrhagic stroke
10. Smoking causes oral cancer
The following pairs of messages are required on the sides of tobacco products packages:
1A. Selling the cigarette to the children harms their health and well-being
1B. Seven out of ten of the children who become addicted to smoking are unable to quit
2A. Smoking can cause blood vessels to narrow and become clogged
2B. Smoking can lead to heart disease
