Sales Restrictions
(e.g., seizure of the product, publication of the violation/violator)
Selling tobacco products via vending machines will result in a fine in the amount of 200 laris and the tobacco product will be confiscation. Repeated violation will result in a fine in the amount of 400 laris and the tobacco product will be confiscated.
Selling tobacco products via the internet or mail (retail) is subject to a fine in the amount of 2,000 laris. Repeated violation will result in a fine in the amount of 4,000 laris.
Location-based Sales Restrictions
Violations of location-based sales restrictions will result in a fine of 200 laris. Repeated violation will result in a fine in the amount of 400 laris.
Minimum Retail Package Size
Violations of the minimum retail package size will result in a fine in the amount of 150 laris. Repeated violation will result in a fine in the amount of 300 laris.
Minimum Legal Sales Age
Selling to someone below the age of 18 is subject to a fine in the amount of 150 laris. Repeated violation will result in a fine in the amount of 300 laris.
