Manufacturer
Police or any other law enforcement agency of government
A tobacco manufacturer, importer, or wholesale distributor who violates packaging and labeling provisions is subject to a fine of not less than N5,000,000 and a term of imprisonment of not more than two years.
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 11 and the FCTC Art. 11 Guidelines in that it provides for a range of fines or other penalties commensurate with the severity of the violation.
Importer
Police or any other law enforcement agency of government
