Currently, the following text warning is required on cigarette packages: “The Federal Ministry of Health warns that smokers die young.” 

When the health warning requirements of the National Tobacco Control Act and the National Tobacco Control Regulations enter into force on June 23, 2021, the three picture health warnings that have been issued will read:
"Smoking causes lung cancer"
"Smoking causes mouth cancer"
"Smoking causes throat cancer"
