Does the law establish a minimum age for the purchase of tobacco products?
The law prohibits the sale of tobacco products to anyone under the age set by domestic law. In addition, the law requires stores where tobacco products are sold to have visible, clear and prominent posters indicating that the sale of tobacco products to minors is prohibited by law.
The law meets FCTC Art. 16 in that it prohibits the sale of tobacco products to minors.
