Does the law establish a minimum age for the purchase of tobacco products?
The law prohibits the sale of tobacco products to anyone under the age of 18. In addition, the law requires stores where tobacco products are sold to have visible and clear signs indicating that the sale of tobacco products to minors is prohibited.
The law meets FCTC Art. 16 in that it prohibits the sale of tobacco products to minors.
