In March 2021, a National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD) directive instructed all relevant ministries and institutions to take immediate action to stop the use, sale, and import of HTPs. This complements Circular No. 001/21, which bans the use, sale, and import of shisha and e-cigarettes.
