Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare is the competent authority to apply sanctions after an administrative summary. The different municipalities of Paraguay must coordinate with the Ministry the actions and measures to be taken.
Through the General Directorate of Health Surveillance, The Ministry created a "Registry of Offenders," to record, process, and document the data identifying the offenders and the sanctions applied.
The Ministry will monitor according to its own decision or because of a complaint by any individual or civil society organization who has evidence that an infraction was committed
Ministry of Industry and Commerce
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce is also the competent authority to apply sanctions after an administrative summary. The different municipalities of Paraguay must coordinate with the Ministry the actions and measures to be taken.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce will monitor compliance according to its own decision or because of a complaint.
