Description of current required warnings/messages:

The specific content of the health warnings has yet to be prescribed. The law provides generally that the warnings may address “the harmful effects on health of tobacco consumption or exposure to tobacco smoke, the advantages of quitting smoking, or suggestions to quit smoking, and any other appropriate tobacco control message,” but leaves the Minister of Public Health to set out additional procedures by administrative order for packaging and labeling.
