Enforcement Authorities
Sanitary Inspectorate
The sanitary inspectorate has the authority and duty to enforce the smoke free provisions of the law within their jurisdiction.
Transport Inspector
The transport agency has the authority and duty to enforce the smoke free provisions of the law within all means of public transport.
Kosovo Police
The police have the authority and duty to enforce the smoke free provisions of the law within all means of public transport, common areas of multi-floor buildings, and stadiums, arenas, or other show areas. In addition, the police force is to assist the sanitary inspectorate in implementation.
Health Inspector
Health inspectors have the authority and duty to enforce the smoke free provisions of the law with regard to the entries and exits of healthcare facilities.
Labor Inspector
Labor inspectors have the authority and duty to enforce the smoke free provisions of the law with regard to work environments and including the areas around their entries and exits.
Education Inspector
Education inspectors have the authority and duty to enforce the smoke free provisions of the law with regard to educational institutions and playgrounds.
