Any person who violates provisions prohibiting the sale of single cigarettes sticks is subject to: (a) on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding 1,900 Euros, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months, or to both, or (b) on conviction on indictment to a fine not exceeding 125,000 Euros, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years, or to both.

Any person who violates provisions regulating tobacco sales by vending machine is subject, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding 1,900 Euros, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months, or to both.

Any person who violates provisions prohibiting the sale of smokeless tobacco is subject to: (a) on summary conviction - (i) in the case of a first offense, to a class B fine or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to both, and (ii) in the case of a second or subsequent offense, to a class A fine or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months, or to both, or (b) on conviction on indictment to a fine not exceeding €500,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or both.
