Smoke Free Status of Outdoor Places

Smoking is prohibited on the grounds of daycare facilities, preschools, primary schools, and lower-secondary schools (schooling through age 16).
The law aligns with FCTC Art. 8 and the FCTC Art. 8 Guidelines, which obligate Parties to adopt and implement effective measures providing protection from exposure to tobacco smoke “in indoor workplaces, public transport, indoor public places and, as appropriate, other public places.”
