It is our understanding that at least seven pictorial health warnings have been approved by the Food and Drugs Authority to appear on tobacco product packaging. Those warnings are:

1. Do not let others breathe your smoke

2. Smoking Causes Rotten Teeth

3. Smoking Causes Leg Cancer

4. Smoking causes Heart Attack. (Image also includes the description: "Damaged Heart Muscle - Result of a clogged artery")

5. Smoking damages the lungs

6. Smoking Damages the Unborn Child

7. Smoking Causes Throat Cancer

A toll-free phone number (quitline) must be displayed with the pictorial health warning on the back of the pack.
