COMMENTS: The Ministry of Public Health issued the Guidelines for Placing Health Warnings on Tobacco Product Packaging to assist with implementation of the provisions of Joint Order No. 0001 of January 3, 2018 Laying Down the Rules for the Packaging and Labeling of Tobacco Products. Although the new warnings were scheduled to appear on packaging beginning on January 3, 2019, it is our understanding that the government delayed implementation to June 12, 2019.
