Tobacco Control Act, 2015
COMMENTS: The Tobacco Control Act, 2015 is the primary law in Uganda regulating tobacco products and tobacco use and regulates restrictions on smoking in public places, advertising, promotion and sponsorship of tobacco products, production and sale of tobacco products, measures to protect against tobacco industry interference, and tobacco packaging and labeling measures, among others.
To the best of our knowledge, all laws provided here are in effect as of April 17, 2026 unless otherwise noted.
