Restriction of the Use of Tobacco Products Act

15 Feb, 2017

COMMENTS: The Restriction of the Use of Tobacco Products Act is the primary piece of legislation regulating tobacco products, including e-cigarettes as "related products." The Act implements the 2014 EU Tobacco Products Directive (Directive 2014/40/EU) and includes further restrictions on smoke free environments, advertising, promotion and sponsorship, and packaging and labeling. A minor amendment to the Act was adopted in May 2017.

To the best of our knowledge, all laws provided here are in effect as of July 26, 2024 unless otherwise noted.
