COMMENTS: The Tobacco Control Act 2017 contains provisions covering the creation of a National Tobacco Control Council, the establishment of smoke free places; advertising, promotion and sponsorship; and packaging and labeling. The Act also contains enforcement provisions. The Tobacco Control (Commencement) Order 2017 establishes that the Act is to enter into force on December 11, 2017.
