COMMENTS: SRO 72(I)/2020 establishes restrictions on tobacco advertising and promotion, and largely replaces the provisions of SRO 1086(I)/2013. SRO 72(I)/2020 goes further than SRO 1086(I)/2013 in that it prohibits all tobacco advertising and product display at points of sale; direct targeting of individuals, including through conventional mail; and retailer incentive programs.
