Act on Tobacco and Similar Products (SFS 2018:2088) (as amended)
COMMENTS: The Act on Tobacco and Similar Products (SFS 2018:2088) is the primary piece of tobacco control legislation in Sweden and regulates, among other things, smoke free places; packaging and labeling; advertising, promotion and sponsorship; contents and ingredients; sales restrictions; and e-cigarettes. The Act has been amended several times; the versions uploaded here contain amendments through June 30, 2022.
This Act repeals the Tobacco Act (SFS 1993:581) and the Act on Electronic Cigarettes and Refill Containers (SFS 2017:425).
To the best of our knowledge, all laws provided here are in effect as of March 15, 2025 unless otherwise noted.
