COMMENTS: The Rules on Cigarette Package Labeling in the Jurisdiction of the People's Republic of China were issued in 2015 to replace the previous rules issued in 2007. The rules require text-only health warnings to increase in size from 30% to 35% of the front and back display areas of cigarette packaging.
To the best of our knowledge, all laws provided here are in effect as of May 2, 2026 unless otherwise noted.
