COMMENT: Resolution 796/2026 updates the contents of the graphic health warnings required to appear on packaging and introduces graphic health warnings for emerging tobacco and nicotine products, including heated tobacco products, e-cigarettes and nicotine pouches. It also updates the text of the health warning required on permitted forms of tobacco advertising and promotion. Resolution 796/2026 repeals Resolutions 623/2019 and 3499/2021.
