COMMENTS: The Regulations Relating to Provisions for Exemption for Unintended Consequences and the Phasing out of Existing Sponsorship or Contractual Obligations (No. R. 977) were issued under the Tobacco Products Control Act. They regulate the phasing out of advertising contracts in existence at the time of the advertising ban (1999) and cross-border advertising exemptions.
To the best of our knowledge, all laws provided here are in effect as of February 28, 2025 unless otherwise noted.
