Advisory on the Online Sale of Tobacco Products and E-Cigarettes
The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOHFW) issued an advisory on the Online Sale of Tobacco and E-Cigarettes. This advisory reiterates the requirements of the MOHFW Advisory issued on August 28, 2018, COTPA, 2023, PECA, 2019 and the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and advises all States and Union Territories to take appropriate action against online sellers of tobacco products and e-cigarettes in the interest of protecting public health.
