Law No. 2017-27 of December 18, 2017 Concerning the Production, Packaging, Labeling, Sale and Use of Tobacco, its Derivatives and Similar Items in the Republic of Benin
COMMENTS: Law No. 2017-27 is the primary law regulating restrictions on smoking in public places; tobacco advertising, promotion, sponsoring; packaging and labeling of tobacco products; cigarette contents and disclosure; and sales restrictions on tobacco products. This law supersedes any conflicting provisions in prior laws, particularly Law No. 2006-12 and its implementing regulations.
