COMMENTS: Law No. 7508 on Establishing Health Protection Measures for Individuals in relation to Devices, Accessories, and Supplies for Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) and Electronic Non-Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENNDS) or Other New and Emerging Devices With or Without Nicotine, and Substances Used for Vaping expands upon the e-cigarette regulatory provisions contained in Law No. 5538 and Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare Resolution S.G. No. 630. In particular, Law No. 7508 updates key terms, adds pictorial health warnings, and regulates specified additives/ingredients for e-cigarettes and their devices. The law also regulates electronic non-nicotine delivery systems (ENNDS).
