Decree No. 7605/2017 Regulating Certain Articles of Law No. 5538 of 2015
COMMENTS: Decree No. 7605/2017 addresses provisions under the authority of the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare, including packaging and labeling and smoke free environments. Article 3 was subsequently amended by Decree No. 4624/2020 to clarify that any permitted designated smoking areas must be located outside, meaning that all indoor workplaces, indoor public places, and public transport are smoke free. Article 8 was subsequently amended by Decree No. 9258/2023 to establish a new set of health warnings.
