Tobacco Products Control Act, 2010
COMMENTS: The Tobacco Products Control Act, 2010 is the primary tobacco control law in Namibia and regulates, among other things, smoke free places, tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship, and tobacco packaging and labeling. The law came into operation on April 1, 2014, pursuant to Government Notice No. 34 of 2014 (published in the Government Gazette on March 27, 2014).
To the best of our knowledge, all laws provided here are in effect as of April 15, 2026 unless otherwise noted.
