COMMENTS: The Cigarettes (Printing of Warning) Ordinance, 1979 (Ordinance No. LXXIII of 1979) effectively requires that health warnings be printed on packets of cigarettes. It prohibits the manufacture, sale, or possession of packets on which the warning is not printed. The Ordinance has been amended several times.
