Does the law establish a minimum age for the purchase of e-cigarettes?
The Tobacco and Vaping Products Act prohibits any person from furnishing an e-cigarette to a young person. Under the Act, the definition of "young person" means "a person under eighteen years of age," and the definition of "furnish" includes selling or giving. Sub-national jurisdictions may establish higher age limits for the purchase of e-cigarettes.
